Winterbourne is a new-build family home in the villages surrounding Canterbury.
For a couple whose two grown-up children were away at university, the brief was to create a kitchen that worked quietly for two during the week, then came into its own when the family gathered at weekends.
The design was shaped around those two rhythms. A bespoke dining table anchors everyday meals, while a generous island becomes the natural centre of the room when everyone is home. Cabinetry runs across two sides to make the most of the layout, with a bespoke larder and engraved drawer details ensuring everything has its place.
This formed part of a wider home project, with every detail designed to feel considered, personal and rooted in the way this family lives.
